Hello,
I have a problem with running tutorial 18 and 23 , I followed the instructions to add the new modules to Rocky and in both eventho version folder exists and both modules are in that folder , when I open Rocky I still can not find the modules in Rocky UI modules list.
I closed and reopend Rocky and also restartedmy PC but still the module list is not refreshed
Can you please help me with it ?

Hello Saeed,Â
Â
Does the version folder indicate the exact same version as your Rocky is? The same is valid for the SDK. It should be the same version as your Rocky.
In which folder are you putting your modules?Â
For tutorial 18, for example, it should be like:
...\Documents\Rocky\Modules\24.2.0\liquid_bridge
Â
Best regards,
Lucas

Dear Lucas,Â
Thank you for your reply.Â
for me it is as follows:Â
...\Documents\Rocky\Modules\24.1.1\liquid_bridge
and my version is 2024R1, is it possible that I might have 24.1.0 version ? because I remeber that I installed it early january last year.Â
Thanks

Maybe,
please check your version by going to Rocky Menu | Help | About.

Thank you for your help. I just checked and my version is 24.1.0. I should unistall this version and get a more updated version. If I want wait for 2025 R1, do you know when is the release date ?Â
Â
I also have a question regarding one of my simulations, Im doing a CFD-DEM simulation for different particles density, I tried simulating 950 KG/m3 650 and 300 for 10s. for the 300kg/m3, around 4s, particles started to overlap and Rocky needed around 200 volumetric iterations and I was observing unrealistic results and system was going to divergence. everything else is the same for all cases. do you know what could be the problem ?
my cfd time step is 1e-4 s.
Best
Saeed

Yes. The 2025 R1 release date is January 14th.
Â
For your CFD-DEM setup, please check your particle's young modulus.

Thank you Lucas , for your help.
Â
I have another question about the CFD-DEM, is it the same for porosity that if i increase it ,i need to adjust and increase young modulus too ? I ran different simulations with 0 , 0.2 and 0.6 porosity and I think the results for 0.6 does not make sense. Can you please help me with it ?
Best,
Saeed
