SubscriberHello,
Â
I was wondering if it is possible to do SPH-DEM simulation in Rocky, which a spray of liquid droplets is made through SPH and falling on particles generated by DEM. If yes, can you please how can I generate the spray of liquid droplets with SPH?
Â
Thanks,
Saeed

Ansys EmployeeHello Saeed,
you can use the SPH Spray Module, available on the Customer Portal. (AddOn Packages | Ansys Rocky | SDK and Modules >>> Source Codes | Simple Modules)

SubscriberDear Lucas,
Thank you for your reply. I just looked at it and it seems like I have to define a point of interst and from there the sph elemets are sprayed. I want to actually design the nozz geometry it self and flow goes through that nozel and be sprayed like the figure I have attached. I would like to change the nozzel diameter and flow rate of the sph elemetns to check the their effect on the liquid droplet size as an example. Can you please let me know how can I do that ?
please let me know if my explanation is not clear or if you have any quastions.Â
Thanks,
Saeed
