Rocky Fibers with Rigid Joints

Hi, I am using Rocky to model a multi-element fiber moving in a fluid, but I would like to make the fiber joints rigid (i.e. "lock" them so that there's no bending, torsion, etc). Can you please let me know how to do this? Thanks!

      Hello,

if you need to use a multi-element joint, there's no option to lock it, but you could change some parameters to make it more rigid:

      • increase particles Young's modulus (considering it will demand more time to simulate)
      • define Particles | Composition | Elastic Ratio = 1
      • increase damping ratio

      best,

      Lucas
