results after iteration are lost every time i close the fluent

  i have problem to discuss. I am doing multiphase problem where i have to go through 30-40k iterations for the results. but every time i export results as case and data, they are not save. Every time i close fluent i lost my iteration results. Kindly suggest me a way to save my results as animations and plots.

  I'd strongly recommend writing your animation and report plots. If you do not write the report plots, they are stored in the memory. Once you close Fluent, these are removed and therefore you will not be able to bring them up. When you write out these files, they are saved on the harddrive. You should be able to reuse the data by asking Fluent to read the data and generate your plots.
