Restart (Switch Implicit => Explicit )

      Good afternoon,

I am trying to master switching the solver type (Implicit => Explicit ) during the calculation

according to the tutorial example https://www.dynaexamples.com/implicit/basic-examples/impl-expl-switch

      I made a model problem - see https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nPr6MEym33FCajFMf6DglQeOF-cdUzxk/view?usp=sharing

I created a curve to output the calculation results

      image.png

but at the stage of using the explicit solver, the results are written with "other" steps - not at all what I ordered in the curve

the first step of outputting the results is 1.105 - 1.005 = 0.1 seconds

then the output step is 0.00003 seconds

but it should have been at the stage (1.005 - 1.006) = 1E-5 seconds

If someone has already encountered this problem - write what the problem is and how to get calculation results with the required time step?

Is it possible to perform stress simulation for a material with viscous properties (mat 269 or 318 or “external” models of materials from PolyUmod) using a full restart?

Step 1 – static loading – implicit solver
Step 2 – dynamic loading – explicit solver

If anyone has such an example – I will be glad to get acquainted with such models.

I tried to perform stress simulation using "external" material models from PolyUmod  using a full restart , unfortunately my attempts were not successful.

The reason is that LS-DYNA could not read the calculation results from the first (static) step, for parts using the above materials.
