SubscriberHi, I am using the thermal-elctric module of Ansys workbench. I want to simulate the Joule heating effect of a very thin deposited Ti (250nm) on a glass substrate. I have to build a 3D model for the glass substrate. Because the heater is very thin, it is not allowed to build it like a box (the thickness value is not allowed). I want to know if there is a way to model the heater as a surface or skin. In that case, we can assign a thickness and material properties to it, and we do not need to mesh in the thickness direction.
Looking forward to the discussion!
Thanks
