Regarding connecting two coils in parallel

Hii, I am connecting two stacked coils in parallel in transmitter side and two on receiver side using eddy current solver and assigning four windings to 4 coils each pair connected in parallel. I am also reducing the parameter matrix by joining in parallel so as to obtain cumulative inductance. However as expected, I am getting 4*4 inductance matrix

My objective is to achieve cumulative self inductance of primary side, secondary side and an equivalent single mutual inductance and coupling coefficient between the transmitter and receiver side even though each two coils are connected in parallel.

Could anybody please guide me how to get the desired result?

For reference, I am attaching the screenshot of my model.

I am getting 4*4 inductance matrix due to 4 winding excitations whereas I am supposed to get 2*2 inductance matrix

      Here N = 20

      Thanks

      Dear eey237508,

You can only plot the mutual inductance between one reduce matrix and the rest of the windings. So basically, in your case two 3x3 matrices. You can do that by selecting "Matrix1" from the Parameter drop down menu in the results plot window and then in the "Matrix" menu select the reduce matrix you would like. You can find more information on Ansys help.

You can also physically join the two winidngs in parallel by creating 2 windings instead of 4. Add the 2 coils that are in parallel to the same winding and then in the winding excitation, under "Number of parallel branches", set 2.
