Reaction force of displacement

      Hi,

My aim is to simulate a press-in process. The diameter of the Pin is 1 mm larger than the whole.

      Modell description:

      -          ¼ modell

      -          Fricionless supports (shown in picture)

      -          Displacement from the Pin:

      Loadstep

      Time

      Displacement x [mm]

      Displacement y [mm]

      Displacement z [mm]

I have problems to interpret the result of the simulation. Specially the result between 1s and 2s I can not understand. I have no displacement, but a very high reaction force (see picture 4). Do you know what is the reason for this?

You should use a lead in chamfer on the pin and the hole.

Also add a blend at the edge the chamer makes with the cylinder.
