Hello Everyone,

I am doing a non linear analysis for a masonry shear wall. I am applying the vertical and horizontal load. the model terimenated at 1.22 sec without failure. I increased the termination time still the same curve. I am getting normal termination but not softening happen. Is is a mesh or somthing other problem.

can you share your d3hsp, message/mes0000 and output file?   There should be something in there that tells you what happened.    turn off mass scaling if there's any as well to see if that's the reason (i've seen it happen before).

What's your control termination card?   it's normal termination, so there's no error.

the terminaton time is 1.2 sec. I was just wundering why there is no drop in the curve after the failure happen in the masonry shear wall.
