I'm researching about break-away simulation using static structural tool
Slip occured between two component when external force occured, and it got new static equlibrium condition after slip
In this state, how force applied at interface? static friction? dynamic friction? or other force?
In addition, I have curious how ansys static structural calculate friction force at interface
I attached visual explanation data for your understand.

Ansys EmployeeThe code uses columb's friction law to enforce resistence to sliding.
