Hi all,nWhen introducing the properties of a fluid in Ansys Fluent, what is the Pure Solvent Melting Heat (j/kg) ?nThank youn

Required for Solidification and Melting Model: that is the latent heat required to melt a solid or released once liquid solidifies.n

Hi,nPure Solvent Melting Heat requires [j/kg]. nThe next picture shows the melting phase of an adhesive (15'7 J/g + 4'1 J/g = 19'8 J/g = 19.800 J/kg). nHowever, I watched many videos on youtube where Pure Solvent Melting Heat are around 190.000 J/kg.nDo you think 19.800 J/kg could be a correct value?nThank younn

      19.8 J/kg seems very lown

      It is not 19.8 J/kg. nit is 19.8 J/g that equals to 19800 J/kg.nis 19800 J/kg very low?n

Hard to say, I'm also not sure why you've taken that data off that graph. n

I have taken that data off that graph because I need to introduce the Pure Solvent Melting Heat (J/kg) to simulate the melting of an adhesive.nDo you think 19800 J/kg is too low?n

Do you know the material? Water which is known to be a very anomalous material has high value of 333.55 J/g (STP)n

It is a EVA base adhesive n
