The Ansys Innovation Space website recently experienced a database corruption issue. While service has been restored there appears to have been some data loss from November 13. We are still investigating and apologize for any issues our users may have as a result.

Can I publish my paper with ANSYS Fluent Student version or Academic Edition?

Student version can't be used for publishing a paper or reserch work. You need a research license for this kind of work. Please check with your college for getting an access to academic research license.

I have the same question as well. I want to run some simulations which at the end are intended to be used for a research paper with no commercial interest. In this case, are there any issues with using the software, do I have to specify in the Materials and Methods sections that I used the Ansys Student Version for my work?
