Programming Capabilities in Zemax OpticStudio 2025

  Hi all,
  Are programming capabilities available to us as student for Zemax OpticStudio? I'm very new to this software and trying to get acquianted. Isee the icons, but they are greyed out for me.

  Thank you for reaching out to us! I am affraid the programming capabilities with Zemax Programming Language (ZPL), are not available on the Student version as you suspected. Also, yes any greyed out feature means that exist but is not available on student version. One suggestion I could give you is to reach out to your university and ask if there are any Academic lisences on Zemax Optic Studio.
