      Hi DSL Support Team,

We have updated to version Discovery 2022 R2 & we are exploring it to suit the different requirement. We have overall gone through tutorials access with reg. mail ID. but due to new version we are not able to cope with steps in tutorials vs latest DSL.

Can you please share the DSL 2022 R2 guide & Bolt Flange Joint Gasket analysis tutorials if available with you.

Note: we are facing lot of issue after upgrading to latest version 2022 R2.

      1) After opening Creo files directly opening data in Creo instead DSL

      2) Lic not getting for ansys user etc.

      Please do the needful

      Hello SagarLive

I do not have a tutorial for this, but please find the video I created explaining how to do a bolted joint analysis. You can also go through this knowledge material, and try the run there. Or go through these documentations to understand how to define bolt preload or use bolt assign tool.

Let me check this with the team.

What error are you getting for them?

SagarLive You are getting this error after applying the bolt preload? When did you get this error/after what operations?

After opening the existing *.dsco file, we come across below unexpected Error message.

        Plz investigate & reply.

        ok thanks,

we were looking for gasket leakage analysis is it possible with DSL 20222. plz confirm

SagarLive I will have to check if that is possible, my understanding is it might not be possible directly as the rubber gasket would perhaps need non linear material properties and this will be fluid + structural simulation. Let me check and get back to you if there is a feasible way to do it.

Also, if it is possible for you to share the workflow you would use in other products that you generally use for this kind of simulation, I can provide a workaround that might be possible in Discovery.
