SubscriberHello,
I want to run an ansys fluent simulation on a cluster and need to create a .jou file and I don't know how to procede. Do I perform the whole pre-processing in the Fluent GUI and I write the journal file after I initialise the simulation?
Thank you for your answer

Forum ModeratorYes.... I'd set the model up, initialise and run 1-2 iterations locally to make sure everything is behaving. You then need a TUI (console) journal to read case & data then run some iterations, finally to write case & data so you can get the results back. Do NOT record a macro based GUI journal as they never work well on remote systems, and rarely work locally!Â
