Problem with working out the CESE LS-Dyna model

    • DENG

I have a problem with working out the ICFD LS-Dyna model. When running the file, there is a problem with temperature not converging. How can this be resolved? How is the "cv   cp   c1    c2    pr "in the *CESE_EOS_IDEAL_GAS and *CESE_MAT_GAS keywords obtained, and how should the parameters of the mixed gas at different temperature and pressure be calculated?I would like to upload the complete document for you to see how to proceed?

      Hello Deng,

What error message are you getting? Which version of LS-DYNA are you using? You mean CESE and not ICFD correct?

Note that Ansys employees are not allowed to upload and download files on the Ansys Forum. You can still post your model here and hopefully other users will chime in.

      Reno.

Are these websites no longer accessible? Where should I look for these models?

      Hello Deng,

The LS-DYNA examples website is still available:

      https://www.dynaexamples.com/cese

Although most of the content has been moved to lsdyna.ansys.com:

      https://lsdyna.ansys.com/knowledge-base/cese/cese-cese/

I don't think the training class is available anymore.

      Reno.
