Hello,

I have a problem with the attached UDF.

I need to create a parabolic inlet velocity profile varying in time. The problem is the profile that is generated is parabolic, but the velocity vectors are not directed perpendicularly to all as with x. I show an image for clarity.

As ANSYS staff I do no ignore attachments. Run for more iterations and check the mesh at inlet.

The UDF is my inlet condition and must be a parabola that varies the intensity in time .... the calculation is transient.

What velocity boundary settings are you using?

I've used the velocity inlet condition.

I've tried to use the old version of the software. In version 19.2 the UDF works fine.

Probably post processing issue. Can you paste the lines of udf and velocity vectors of both runs.
