Problem with mesh tool for fluent in Ansys 19 installed in Centos 7

      Mesh size change is not possible in linux version of ansys. Even a small refining also leads to freeze the system. My system configuration is i7, 16Gb ram. 2019 R1 version of Ansys is installed .

      Also while opening fluent it is showing the below shoeing error: But i checked with importing mesh and it is working..

      0: mpt_get_dot_address: warning: localhost.localdomain -> 127.0.0.1. Check your system network configuration!

      Please can you check the operating system and cards against https://www.ansys.com/solutions/solutions-by-role/it-professionals/platform-support  and check the operating system configuration.

      The VKI warning is separate, and we may need to contact you directly to resolve this: we'd need a reply from your University address to then proceed.

      What does the message regarding the VKI license means?

      VKI only matters if you're using certain import/export features. If you can do what you're planning to it's not a problem and will be resolved when your institute gets a new licence. If it is a problem please ask the University ANSYS contact to request a new licence.

      Is there any solution to this problem? I've recently installed whole ANSYS package and Fluent has been working just fine until this notification popped out and some options have been blocked like drawing contours, which is crucial to my work. To be precise, in my case only this pops out "VKI license is not available. Corresponding TUI and GUI options for import and export will not be available".

      Yes, I posted it last week: does it actually effect anything that you're trying to do?
