SubscriberWhen I import my airplane into fluent and create an enclosure then use the boolean subtract tool, it fails to mesh. When I dont use the boolean subtract tool, the mesh is successfully generated. How can I fix this? Or is there a way to not use boolean subtract tool to recieve lift and drag values in cfd?
You can see the trailing edge of the airfoil cannot be selected anymore and the meshing failings around there.
Picture below shows the edge able to be selected - I havent used the boolean subtract tool.
Any help would be appreciated. -

Forum ModeratorIf you don't use the boolean does the mesh respect the aircraft? Ie is there a hole in the volume mesh so that flow goes around it? Â
