Hello,

I have been trying to install ANSYS Student 2024 R2, I have followed all the steps of the installer, but when I get to the installation process itself, a critical error occurs.

Initially the error that I got was the following: "uninst_data.dat"

I checked the files and none existed with that name.

 

But, now I get a critical error but I have no information about it.

When I try to close the tab I get the following:

I hope you can give me an answer.

Hey, whilst I'm not an ansys employee, I've had to deal with what I think is the same issue.
What I did to fix it was I hunted down and deleted ALL files the Ansys installer installed during my first install attempt. Although this shouldn't matter, I made sure the c drive location for Ansys was separate to the location I extracted the zip file in.
