SubscriberI have developed models for two geometries: a cube and a concrete beam. I am applying motion to the cube with a specified fixed velocity, as illustrated in the figure below. Our objective is to initiate movement of the concrete beam following the motion of the cube; however, instead of achieving this, the cube is penetrating the concrete beam, as depicted in the figure below. I would appreciate guidance on how to address this issue.

Forum ModeratorI'm not sure Rocky has built in collision detection for geometry. Can you simply set the beam to move at the same rate as the cube?Â

SubscriberThank you for your response.
I should refrain from applying motion to the beam, as my goal is to utilize the cube to move the beam and to analyze the forces generated on both the beam and the particles. Is there a method to prevent the cube from penetrating the beam?

Forum ModeratorI think you need to couple to Ansys Motion. I'll get one of the Rocky team to confirm.Â
