Porous Media Dual Cell Method Crashes

I am using ANSYS Fluent 2020R1 and I am trying to use the dual cell method for the non equilibrium porous media model. However, every time I run the simulation I get a sigsegv 19680 error. I do not know why this is happening as I have specified the interfacial heat transfer coefficient and interfacial area density. It works perfectly fine when using the equilibrium model.n

Does it work for a dummy pipe case?n

Yes it does. I figured out that by changing from cell to cell limiting to cell to face limiting the simulation would run.n

Should not be required to change that expert setting but ok.n

I am unsure as to why that resolved the issue myself. Would you have any insight or could it possibly be an error? Also, I recently had an error when I was assigning the energy source to the solid part of the porous media. Is this abnormal or did I miss something obvious when going through the user manual? I know that the manual says to apply it to the fluid but to me it makes more sense to apply it to the solid and then it gets transferred to the fluid via convection.n

It should work even when defining a source term applied to the solid part of the dual cell approach.n

Yes, but it doesn't. It works if I initialize, run for a few iterations, then add the source, but not if I initialize with the source.n

Is your source a constant source?n

      Yes it isn
