Hi, I am a relatively experienced user of Fluent but I am currently working on a problem using Polyflow.
I am interested in calculating a custom field at a wall boundary that will update its value each iteration.
Later on, I am also interested in generating a material model that is dependent on a custom field function that is influenced by advection.
In Fluent I have implemented these models successfully using udf and uds, along with user defined memory. In this case, Polyflow has other advantages that make it much better suited to the current task. Do you have any suggestions in how I can store and access calculated data within Polyflow in a manner similar to the Fluent functionality? Any help is greatly appreciated -

Hi, polyflow lets you set dependence using evolution based and PMAT based functions. You might want to look into it: User manual - Chapter 28: Evolution
Also, polyflow UDFs are written in CLIPS language. You can go through the manual (or web) for some examples: User manual - Chapter 32: User-Defined Functions (UDFs)

Hi, thank you for your response. I have now successfully written and implemented some PMAT based functions in CLIPS.
I am still interested in whether it is possible to store and access custom data fields (similar in functionality to user defined memory functionality in Fluent) - there does not seem to be any information in the sections of the user manual you have sent.
Many thanks
