Plug In error: Attach Failed

  Hey guys I just started using Ansys and was assigned a step file to upload into Ansys Workbench, I saved it with a UTF-8 encoder and tried 16 and UTF-8BOM but I keep getting the same error messages when I try to go into the Model. If you have an solutions I would be grateful :)

  Hi,
  Which version of Ansys are you using? Have you tried importing geometry directly to standalone application instead of using workbench?
  Do you have license for same, can you goto %temp% .ansys folder and check the latest *.log file if it has any error.
