SubscriberHi there,
I am running a hypervelocity impact simulation between a spherical projectile and thin wall plate. I am using SPH to model both the projectile and the plate. I would like to know the velocity, direction and even mass if possible of each of the fragments that result. Currently if I select the vector option in the plots window, a range of different velocities shows up in a colour coded bar on the left hand side, but ideally I would like them to show up like in this picture below taken from a paper titled "Computation of fragment velocities and projection angles of an anti-aircraft round":

Ansys EmployeeHi Conor, are you using Ansys explicit dynamics (autodyn)?

Yes I am.
Thanks,
