Pin Moving in the curved slot

      Hello, I wonder my Ansys simulation on setting the connection parts type. I have a mechanism look like this: One below slider moved in x-axis and caused another above slider moved in z-axis and also pin moved in the curved slot. I tried to set the connection as: slider with rail: translational Lower slider and upper slider: Translational Pin in the slot: frictionless So, when I tried to set the displacement condition in x direction on the lower slider, the upper slider did not move in z direction and the pin did not follow the CAM curve. Do you have any idea that can solve this to make the upper slider move and pin moves in the slot.

      Can you give more detials on what you are trying to do (what software and package you use) and what is going wrong (show any error messages) so members can try and provide some feedback.

      For this mechanism, I would like to know the pressure and displacement on the sliders. I studied in Transient structural which I applied displacement on the lower guider as a initial condition. When I gave the conditions as above mention, the pin inside the curved slot did not run follow the curve which meant the pin was interference with the CAM. I set the displacement and the message are shown as below:
