Forum ModeratorYou mean a damping layer? In theory it should be possible with source terms, how you figure out the damping function isn't something I can answer. Note, if they're water waves there's a numerical beach model in Fluent. n -

SubscriberIn reality they are pressure waves. I try with the general non reflecting boundary conditions but I don't see any improvements when I apply it. So I'm asking if there are other solutions.n -

Forum ModeratorIf the boundary is affecting the result the easier approach is to move the boundary. Using numerical methods is an aide, not necessarily a full solution. n
