SubscriberHello,
I am running a VOF-3D-case in ANSYS FLUENT 2021 version which consists of an inlet and an air region on top of a PCM region. My goal is to melt the PCM as water enters from the inlet. I am trying to patch the air and the pcm, but I have been getting some errors attached below. Please, does anyone have an idea how I can patch this correctly?
Thank you.

Ansys EmployeeCan you try directly in TUI step by step to learn what Fluent is expecting as input . I assume you want to patch cell zones or registers. Also just use GUI for quick resolution if you are just planning to run interactively

Ansys EmployeeThe error message might have many roots. It seems you are not patching now,,?
Please
Do not use any journal file just read case initialize from GUI patch from GUI and run one time step.

SubscriberDear Dr Amine I have done that and it's correctly running. But how do I run it for longer time steps, should I save the new case file and run it again using the journal file?
THANK YOU.

Ansys EmployeeYou do not requirevany journal file for your run. Just increase the number of steps in the GUI.
