SubscriberHello everyone,
I am trying to create a mesh for a stent and some implications occur while doing it. I will attach all the relevant pictures in a pdf file. While meshing a single component of the stent's geometry the outcome is acceptable.
The problem is when I add the other components of the stent. There seems to appear some problems with the mesh while maintaining the same parameters and partitioning. It looks like it is ignoring the edges that I have created in the corner.
Does anybody knows the source of this problem or has a recommendation on the partitioning technique?

Forum ModeratorI am sorry the background color threw me off, as we don't have such colors by default. So if I am understanding correctly you are using workbench meshing and from looks of it I think that can be a multizone method, and also from the looks of it the bodies are not sliced, but only faces seem to be split.
And your problem seems with larger mesh size it ignores some face split? is it? if yes, multizone is a patch independent method, so if the larger file size is given, it will ignore your face splits. One thing you can try is give named selection to those edges that split faces so that they are respected by the multizone method.

Forum ModeratorYou can try to add Face Meshing with mapped controls for the said faces and see if that helps.
