Hi, I am modelling a custom-polyhedron moving towards a fiber in Rocky (fig 1). As it does so, the fiber goes through the polyhedron, creasting particle overlap (fig 2), instead of the polyhedron pushing the fiber away or the fiber getting folded into the open spaces. How would you suggest avoiding this issue? The simulation log suggests "increasing the polyhedron's Young's Modulus", which hasn't worked. I also tried lowering the simulation time-step which didn't resolve the issue. Thank you very much for your help.

Hi parsaary,Â
what order of magnitude are you using for the time step and Young's Modulus?Â
You might try this same simulation with the default values for these parameters.Â
Â
Also pay attention to the time interval, which is different from time step. Check the Rocky User Manual for more details.Â
regards,
Lucas
