hello, everyone. I am trying to parallel the udf, however, after I read the udf manual and some materials, I still don't know how to do this. One of the questions is which variables need to be used in seriel or node and which can be used in seriel, node and host?

It's not the variables that cause you to need parallel, it's the loop operations.

thanks for your reply. but in the manual, it says "varials used by serial, host, node versions" and "these variables are not available on the host" just like the picture.

The manual does only tell that some parts won't be seen by HOST or NODE or whatever depending on the compiler directives.

!RP_NODE will be only executed by Host or Serial for example

Host does not contain any data or mesh info it just communicates with the Cortex/UI. Nodes have mesh and data info. Nodes communicate with Host via Node 0.

I recommend attending a UDF training.
