SubscriberI am currently working in force convection heat transfer through pipe with nanofluid by using mixture model two phase flow. I am getting the fluidflow result correctly (like average wall shear stress, velocity magnitude etc). BUT I AM GETTING HEAT TRANSFER VALUE (LIKE NUSELT NUMBER) OVER PREDICTED. What could be the reason for that?

Forum Moderator Start with the mesh resolution, then check material properties including phase assignments & droplet/bubble diameters. Are you getting too much heat transfer, or too high a fluid side heat transfer coefficient?Â

SubscriberI am getting over predicted heat transfer coefficient about 20% higher than experimental value.

Forum ModeratorI suspect he didn't understand the reference values: have a look in the User's Guide for the various HTC definitions, and then review the Reference Values in the solver. n
