I run big simulations in out of core on a raid0 sata ssds, so 1gb/second.
Added a nvme gen3 ssd, around 3.5gb/second, but both my cp and elapsed times got worse.
Why?
Both project directory and temporary folder are on the new nvme ssd.
Thanks

Hello, There are many many factors which determine overall I/O throughput. how many cores are being used ? have you run a a benchmark on the 2 drives for comparison for sustained R/W ?
