Hi, 

I did topology optimization a week ago and my objective is minimizing compliance. Now, I want to continue to do a new optimization but there is no option for compliance anymore. Does anyone know the reason?

Is your Optimization linked to a completed Analysis System upstream?  Can you show a screenshot of the workflow?

Hi just to let you know about Ansys Discovery capabilities on topological optimization. You can performe TO with an objective on maximizing the stiffness. Here an example and a link to a video:

I am not able to see any compliance minimize or stiffness maximize option here in the objective section although I have seen that option almost ten days ago.

If we are not showing a complience objective in the Optimization system which is linked to a successfully completed Structural Analysis System, that would seem to be a bug. 

So far, I can't reproduce that scenerio on my end in simple tests.

Do you have any ideas how to fix this problem?

I have faced the same problem during my optimization, too. Compliance is not available in "objective" selections. Could you solve the problem?

Can you share the steps taken to get the model into that state (i.e. Compliance Objective is missing from the Structural Optimization System)?
