SubscriberHi,
I am running a large optimization on OpticStudio with POP (5 different field points, ~100 surfaces, ~30 variables). I noticed that each run (even when not doing optimization) takes a significant amount of time. In order to get a better performance, I'm considering buying a new PC for these simulations. Which specifications in my computer (CPU cores, RAM, etc) are most relevant? Can you recommend a set of specifications to get optimal performance?
Thanks,
Mike

Ansys EmployeeHi Mike,
Thank you for reaching out to us! We actually have a Knowledge Base article which should cover your question: What computer should I buy to run OpticStudio?
Hence, I would suggest to go through it and if you have any additional questions, I would be happy to address them.
Kind Regards,
Niki
