Ansys EmployeeHello Karthik,
Your setup is not really clear to me, can you show the material and the source you have used ?Â
Thanks

SubscriberHi sir,
Actually I've used two optical fibers in a oil container. I used source on other side and sensors i used is radiance sensor to test simulation.
Question: in the simulation we can see light rays reflecting inside the fiber starts only from top of the fiber, not from below. I changed source position to see but still rays impacting only at the top of the fiber.
What changes i need to make inorder to make complete optical fiber to get rays reflects inside the fiber.
Thank You.Â
Best Regards,
Karthik

Ansys EmployeeHello,
I that I would suggest to increase the Max impact value (in the options of the simulation).
I'm also not sure if the radiance sensor is the best, because the light direction is very important for radiance sensor. Can't you use an irradiance sensor ?
Â
Best regards
