SubscriberHello Everyone,
For generating arbitrary cracks in my model, I imported my geometry into ANSYS Mechanical. While solving, I get an error: "One or more objects may have lost some scoping attachments during the geometry update. You can identify these tree objects by filtering the tree using the Scoping option set to Partial." I have no clue how can I resolve this error.Â
Any help or suggestion would really be appreciated.Â

Ansys EmployeeHi Divya,
The warning above shows that one of the objects could not scope it to all the geometries it was scoped to, Check the model where you have scoped geometries, issue might be in contacts or boundary conditions. Go to the objects and manually check the scope. Deleting any automatically generated current contacts and generating new ones manually might help.
Regards,
Nanda.

SubscriberHi Nanda,
Thank you for your reply. I rechecked the model where I had scoped the geometry. But I am encountering another problem during the simulation. Solution information shows crack front does not have a contiguous set of nodes. The meshing and crack generation was although successful. I have no clue how to resolve this error.
Best Regards,
Divya Giri
