This is a very Recent article (open Acccess). I am not able to set the overset mesh as I want to perform the similiar simulation.Â
May anyone please guide me how to do the overset mesh as the author has done in this paper.Â
Implementation of nozzle motion for material extrusion additive manufacturing in Ansys Fluent
https://doi.org/10.1080/17452759.2024.2397816
Or any tutorial recommendation or any Meshing file. They have uploaded the motion udf file. The animated video is also available for the same as author has uploaded on his linkdn page.Â
I would appreciate your help.ÂÂ

Overset is covered in one of the tutorials in Fluent's Help system. You'll just need to replace the 6DOF with fixed motion track. Â
If that's VOF the solution isn't going to be overly stable, and you will need to do some reading on the model settings to try and get it working.Â

Thank you, I will check that tutorial and try to do it.
