Nonlinear structural analysis with geometric nonlinearities

  Hello,
  
  Could someone walk me through the process of performing a static structural analysis of a cantilever beam (or any simple geometry), with geometric nonlinearities? It could have a simple bending load as input.
  
  Or if there is any page or any other source where I could get this information, that would be useful too.
