*** ERROR ***                           CP =     455.828   TIME= 14:58:25Element 19509 (type = 1, PLANE183) (and maybe other elements) hasbecome highly distorted.  Excessive distortion of elements is usuallya symptom indicating the need for corrective action elsewhere.  Tryincrementing the load more slowly (increase the number of substeps ordecrease the time step size).  You may need to improve your mesh toobtain elements with better aspect ratios.  Also consider the behaviorof materials, contact pairs, and/or constraint equations.  Please ruleout other root causes of this failure before attempting rezoning ornonlinear adaptive solutions.  If this message appears in the firstiteration of first substep, be sure to perform element shape checking.*** WARNING ***                         CP =     455.828   TIME= 14:58:25The unconverged solution (identified as time 1 substep 999999) isoutput for analysis debug purposes.  Results should not be used forany other purpose.

      Hello,

Check the following video on how to handle element distortion error for hyperelastic materials (with the majority of guidelines applicable to other materials as well):

Hello, this message pops up when i run the analysis to define the timestep of the plastic collapse load on a thin strip with an elliptical hole on ansys mechanical apdl. i checked the mesh and there was no error shown by the software. i try to increase the number of substeps or decrease the timestep size but still nothing. I am not sure if there is any problem with the design or shape of the elliptical hole as i couldn’t find a command for the design of an ellipse(major axis is 20mm and minor axis is 10mm) located at the center of the thin strip.
