  How to compute the nonlinear Aeff in an SOI waveguide using FDTD ?

  Aeff means (modal) effective area? if you have the mode data you can calculate it based on your definition. If you are using FDTD to create such nonlinearity,it is likely that you can use a profile monitor at some location to record the field at the specified wavelength. Please try.
