Q1 : Full error message : No conductors were found on port '1', so auto assignment of conductors on that port cannot proceed. (03:35:36 PM  Oct 22, 2024)

I get this error when

Solution Type - Options - Terminal 

*it can simulate when i use 'Model'

 

Assign Exciation - port - terminal lumper port 

 

Q2: When i import the step file from PCB software, it does not import the copper via , so now the PCB board (transparent) is ROGERS RO4350 . Any method to insert the copper via?

These errors can be spotted before the simulation by running the validation checker (menu HFSS > Validation Check). The ports need te be defined properly.

Depending on which PCB tool you are using, it is recommended to use the Ansys EDB format for import if possible. Otherwise try IPC2581

Finally, you can manually add the via in HFSS 3D Layout:
