      my solution status is stuck on this what should i do

      How long has it been stuck for? What load do you have on the cpu?

      my pc is 16gb, windows 64 bit i5 6 cores 2.8ghz its an excellent pc and i don't why its taking so much time

       I recognize this model from the Cornell course. Did your computer solve other models before this?

      yeah im my college i had solved 3d models of beam under udl

      i kept it on for like 30 mins then i closed it

      Check the cpu/RAM loading incase something else is the root cause. Also confirm the model is correctly set up: if you're missing a fixed constraint or similar the solver may be trying to work out where the whole model is going.....

      Try rewatching the video, then start with a new file and build the model over again. If you attach an archive .wbpz file, I will look at it to see what you did wrong.

      thanks a lot guys but i solved a few things in my pc and ansys started to work smoothly
