Multiphase Model

      Hi,

In order to simulate the occurence of cavitation, I have two possibilities for the choice of the multiphase model (VOF can´t be used for cavitation model).

In a book I have read this:"The simulation of a disperse multiphase flow can be carried out either with a Lagrange or a Euler´schen method. For phase transformation and large mass loads, an Eulerscher approach is applied to both phases. In this way, this method considers each phase as a continuum with different characteristics, with each phase being present at each location with a certain proportion".

Should I then use the Eulerian approach instead of the mixture model (it refers to the Lagrange approach?) ? I think that the mixture model is easier to use because there are fewer parameters to enter.

      Regards,

      Maxime

Mixture Model is an Eulerian Apporach.
