I have a question regarding the outputs when using LS-DYNA/MPP. I would like to obtain the displacement of the rigid body, so I requested this output in the input file. In the output, I loaded the binout0000 file and selected rbdout> rigid_body> global_dz from the main branches in the binout file (the result is shown below).
However, I noticed that there is another rigid body displacement output available under matsum> SPHnode> z_rbdisplacement (shown below).
Since both outputs appear to represent rigid body displacement but give different values, could you please let me know which one is the correct displacement output to use?

The binout >> rbdout is correct. Is your rigid body an SPH part too? BTW, which version of LSPP do you use?Regards,

SubscriberThank you! Do you have any idea what the other displacement represents?
The rigid body is not an SPH body, it is made of solid elements. I am using LSPP R14.
