SubscriberWhile running a symmetry model, design based on the discussion here, in ANSYS mechanical I am getting the following two errors;
"One or more MPC contact regions or remote boundary conditions may have conflicts with other applied boundary conditions or other contact or symmetry regions. This may reduce solution accuracy. Tip: You may graphically display FE Connections from the Solution Information Object for non-cyclic analysis. Refer to Troubleshooting in the Help System for more details."
Within my model I do not have any contact region, instead I have used the face split to model the support and the loading area. I might have issue with the remote boundary condition or with the symmetry, as suggested in the error. The symmetry images are shown as following;
The boundary conditions which I applied are ; (i) top load is -0.5mm in y direction and all other components and rotations were zero. (ii) the bottom support have zero in y-component and free for other components and rotations.Â
In addition, within the solver output, I have number of following messages with different node numbers (ranging between 22945 and 23142)
"Specified degree of freedom constraint UZ at unused node 22945"
I am not sure if both of the above mentioned errors are related or different. It would be helpful if someone may guide me on solving these issues.
Thank you
