MOVE tool is missing the Measure option

I'm trying to MOVE a face and need to use the Measure option so that the face is moved a specific distance from another face. But the Measure option is not present in the MOVE tool's HUD as shown in the attached screenshot. What happened to the Measure option? 

I'm using Discovery 2025R1

Hi, 

You have to use the Ruler option as shown below for this. First select the axis in the direction you want to move it with specific distance and then select ruler option:

No, that’s not the option I’m looking for. The Measure option has an icon that looks like vernier calipers; it can be used to specify the desired length of an edge when moving a face.

Here is a screen capture from an Ansys tutorial video on using the Move tool in Ansys Discovery:

For some reason, this Measure option does not appear when I’m using the Move tool in Discovery.

Is there any way I can get SpaceClaim back? It was MUCH better than Discovery for my purposes.

Hi, 

That option is removed from the panel it seems. But you can access the Measure button from the Measure Tab:

You can also activate that using the shortcut button "E" on the keyboard.

What I'm looking for is NOT the Measure *tool* (which simply provides measurements). The missing feature was the Measure *option* for the Move tool (and the Pull tool), which allowed you to specify a measurement during the Move (or Pull) operation!

If you click the Measure tool during a Move/Pull operation, the Move/Pull operation is cancelled.

The loss of this important Move/Pull tool option makes no sense! Are there any Ansys employees in this forum to explain?

This feature was moved to Parameter button: 

In this case you're measuring the face you're moving X face, and you're measuring Y element.
