Hello, I want to ask if there's any instruction on how I can modify the default behavior of workbench LSDYNA in terms of how it writes out input files.

For example, if I want to use a material model by inserting a lsdyna commnand in the geometry section, it doesn't allow me to put the load curve in that same command file, I have to insert it under lsdyna analysis setting. 

I like to modify the input write-out logic such that load curve can be inserted in the command under geometry.

There are many other examples, is it possible?

What version of Workbench LS-DYNA are you using? I tested with 2026R1, and it seems to be accpeting load curve under the same material card. Do you get any errors, or I might be missing something.

Also, if possible, could you give a brief about other examples. I can raise an enhancement request on your behalf.

Hi Nanda, we connected offline but I want to say thank for your response.    I hope the dev can consider opening up workbench LSDYNA more and allow users to have customization, adjustability, etc. 

There are a lot of things I will do on my own to create a customized work flow within workbench but there are things that I believe can be done to make this preprocessor a lot more competitive.   Fundamentally, follow the way LSDYNA would ahve been setup in other preprocessors

1) don't repeat section and mat cards

2)allow changing of default keywords when inserting objects, including what parameter value is written as default

3) instead of that clunky keyword manager addin, leverage what's good about LSPP (such as having the keyword parameter description in the window, allow all keywrod to be searched, mirroring documentation information, etc) in workbench

etc etc etc

I am going to start building some of these features into my own workflow as much as I am allowed to but like I mentioned, it would be beneficial to both the current user group as well as new users to bring customization to this preprocessor and overtime, users can share their own ideas of how the preprocessor can be designed to fit their own needs by importing different configurations.  

don't box LSDYNA in the world of ANsys Mechanical preprocessor.
