missing convergence plot

      Hi,

I have solved a very simple static structural analysis however I can see that in the Solver output Menu to select a specific convergence criterion plot actually there are only the Solver Output, the Solution Statistics and the Solution History, without any plot of the convergence criteria as it is visible in the following picture.

I think it is not a problem of settings since I have tried to activate and also leave as PC the criteria for convergence.

I would appreciate your opinion about this problem.

      Thanks!

      Hi

We need to have at least some form of nonlinearity, so large deflections, nonlinear contacts, or material nonlinearities - otherwise the solution is linear and we do not need any nonlinear NR iterations and thus any convergence for that (so for linear analysis we do not show any convergence graph since there is nothing to show - it does not exist)
Turn on large deflections in analysis settings and it should then appear.

      All the best

      Erik
