Hi everybody, I am interested in creating metalenses in the THz range using the example Zemax_interoperability_metalens_unit_cell.fst, which was developed in 2020. I downloaded this example from the following page: https://optics.ansys.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042097313-Small-Scale-Metalens-Field-Propagation. However, when performing the simulation in the Terahertz range (100 microns to 3000 microns), I get no results in the transmittance; all the transmittance disappears, even when there is no object in the simulation region. What is happening, and how can I solve this problem? I am trying to reproduce this article: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0143816623003639

Hi David,
Thank you for reaching out to us! I believe the online example is created for visible range. I suspect that if you want to go to THz range you will need to change the dimensions of the unit cell as well as the refractive index/material.
I hope that was helpful, let me know if you need any further assistance.
Kind Regards,
Niki

Hi Niki! thanks for our answere, but I already made this change, and it doesn't work. Do you have another suggestion?Â
thanks
